Darranga Land Port at a Glance 

  • Land Ports Authority of India took over the Border Trading Centre (BTC) at Darranga on 8th August 2024. It is the first BTC to be upgraded into a land port on the Bhutan border.
  • Located in the Tamalpur district of Assam, the land port is spread across 14.5 acres.
  • The land port lies at 700m from the Bhutan border.
  • It leverages the improved connectivity of NH 27 near Rangia.
