Internship

The Land Ports Authority of India offers internship opportunities to students and research scholars to familiarize them with the process of Land Port development, cross-border trade and passenger movement and nuances of border issues and bordering dynamics and borderlands.  Our endeavour is to promote policy oriented applied field-based and desk research on different issues pertaining to the functioning of Land Ports in India.

We strongly encourage interns to provide ideas and research support to LPAI and contribute to the policymaking process.

The internship programme is open to students from all disciplines, in accordance with the eligibility criteria outlined in the internship guidelines. The application process for the Internship 2026 was open until 29.12.2025 and has now been closed. Interested candidates are advised to regularly visit the website for updates regarding the next batch, which is expected to commence in March 2026.
